			Research Essences are dropped by monsters and gathering material, and they are used to level up and fill in the Research Window [B]. Check the [[Research]] page for more info.

	After successfully clearing the Boss Room in a Dungeon and opening your Boss Chest, you will obtain two types of essence: Generic and Dungeon Specific. You can take the [[Generic Dungeon Essence]] to the NPC under the bridge at [[Spawn]] and the Dungeon Specific Essence to the relevant shopkeeper in order to buy their wares. One particularly nice piece of equipment they sell is the [[Void Bag]], the largest backpack available in Soul's Remnant!
