Quest

A quest is a given list of tasks that a player can complete and turn in for rewards, such as items and XP.

When performing an activity that helps fulfill a quest, you will see green text appear informing you of your progress.

Upon doing enough to finish your quest, white text will appear telling you that you've completed your quest(s)!

Quest Window

You can check your quest progress by accessing the Quest Window [ / ]. It is also through the Quest Window that you can turn in most your quests by clicking on the "Complete" button.

Some quests, however, do require you to speak to an NPC in order to finish it and claim the reward.

Your quests will occasionally have a colored dot next to them. Here is what they mean:

• White Dot: You recently obtained this quest! Clicking on it will remove the white dot.
• Blue Dot: The objectives for this quest have been reached. Go on and turn it in!
• Gold Dot: A gold dot just means that that quest is currently pinned.

While in the Quest Window, you can select a quest of your choice and press the "Pin" button in order to keep its objectives always in view by opening a new window. To easily unpin a quest, you can press the "x" icon on this new window.

Below is a list of all the quests available in Soul's Remnant. After expanding a header, you can click on the name of the quest to expand/collapse its information.

Tutorial Quests

Prepare for the Hunt! I

Before you face danger, you need to be prepared! First, it's time to learn a skill! Skills are your main way of interacting with the world of Soul's Remnant. Press (K) To open the Skills Window and learn a skill!

Objectives:

20 EXP

Prepare for the Hunt! II

Now it's time to make the skill you just learned active! This enables you to use it. To do this, press (K) to open the Skills Window and drag the skill over to the left side of the window!

Objectives:

Activate a skill

Reward:

20 EXP

Prepare for the Hunt! III

You're almost ready! As a final step, press (O) to open the Stats window and assign your 5 stat points! This will make your skills stronger.

Assign an attribute point: 0/5

Reward:

25 EXP

Slime Hunt!

The shepherd needs your help to clear out some pesky slimes that are disturbing his flock. Defeat 10 slimes and return to him for a reward!

Objectives:

Kill Slimes: 0/5
Pick up an item: 0/3

Reward:

150 EXP
Faded Innocence x1
Small Health Potion x5
Small Mana Potion x5

Global Quests

Click to show / hide At the top of your Quest Window, you will occasionally see a yellow quest that all players can contribute to. These are global quests, and must be completed within their given timeframe.
If they are not completed before time runs out, then no player will receive any reward.
If the Global Quest is successfully finished however, then the rewards will be split proportionally to your contribution and then sent to your mail [ , ].

The Slimes are at it again! No way! They must be stopped. Kill them all!

Objectives:

Jels out of Control!

The Jels are at it again! No way! They must be stopped. Kill them all!

Personal Quests

Click to show / hide Every player is given a set of these same quests. If the quest you complete is part of a questline, then the next quest is unlocked immediately!

Spawn's Quest Master

Click to show / hide Right next to the Great Campfire in Spawn is an NPC in white, who is wearing a monocle and reading a book.
After completing their first quest, "Sharpen Your Skills!", they will offer you repeatable quests (each with their own cooldown).
Repeatable quests will be shown in a brighter blue within the Quest Window.

The Kmitty Questline

Shepherd At the Beach
