After successfully clearing the Boss Room in a Dungeon and opening your Boss Chest, you will obtain two types of essence: Generic and Dungeon Specific.

Where to Find

Speaking of Dungeons, you don't only get Dungeon Essences from them. Boss Chests and Loot Rooms regularly drop a wide selection of essences for you! So if you have a need for more essences, it might be a good idea to do some Dungeon runs.
