INFO: This page is currently a Work in Progress

Most if not every item you can slot into an equipment slot will be found on this page. Pieces of equipment you wear come with attributes that you add to your character while they are equipped!

  • Item Name Color is determined by the number of Echoes lines and the quality of every line on the item.

The One Line Upgrade Trick

This trick also applies to items that only have 1 possible Stats line! In that case, you would instead use Nurturing Gems.

One method of getting the most out of both your Gems and your Souls is to use the One Line Upgrade Trick.

This usually refers to getting a good item with a good first Echoes line, and not using any souls on it yet.

You can instead use Mystic Gems right from the get go, and guarantee that all your Upgrade Slots will go directly into that first Echoes line!

Stats and Echoes

The attributes of all equipment are split between two categories: Stats and Echoes.

Stats are lines of bonus attributes that always have a chance of showing on items of the same name. For example two Eyepatches may have Stats lines of different quality, but they will always have one line of Soul Crystal Find and one line of Echoes Find for their Stats.

Not all pieces of equipment are guaranteed to have all of their Stats, though. Every Flower Tiara, for example, can roll anywhere from 0 Stats lines to 9 Stats lines.

Echoes are lines of bonus attributes that are determined by item type, and are highly modifiable in both number and quality. Every Hat rolls their Echoes lines from the same pool, and Hats have a different pool to choose from than that of Backpacks or Weapons or Auras and etc.

  • The maximum number of Echoes lines on any item is 5 and you can use Souls to make an item into how you want it (within reason).
  • The maximum value of any Echoes line is determined by item level. a Ruby (Red) Echoes line on a low level item will likely be less powerful than even a Gray Echoes line on an endgame item.

Upgrade Slots and Milestones

Weapons aren't the only Equipment type with "Tiers"!

The number of Gems you can use on an item is determined by the number of Upgrade Slots on the item. Most items you can equip have their number of Upgrade Slots determined by the item's required level to equip it.

A low level weapon will likely have less Upgrade Slots than a high level one. Same with rings and most other things.

That being said, there are technically two categories of equipment in Soul's Remnant:

"Tiered" Equipment and "Unique" Equipment (this is unofficial terminology, used mainly for wiki purposes).

Tiered Equipment refers to items that have lower level and higher level variants of itself, typically having some commonality in name and appearance. Like the Stone Sword and the Arcane Sword.

As the item "tiers up", such as progressing from Stone to Arcane to even higher, the maximum amount of attributes provided by its Stats and Echoes will increase, as well as the number of Upgrade Slots it has.

Please note then when we mention "tiering up" we don't mean that you get to keep an item and that it transforms. The only way you can "transform" a Stone Sword into an Arcane Sword would be to use a Transitive Soul and destroy it in order to pass on its (probably very weak) Echoes onto an Arcane Sword you already have in your inventory.

Many Tiered Equipment within the same category will share similar milestones too, like how every Stone Weapon will go from 2 Upgrade Slots to 3 Upgrade Slots at the Copper tier.

And then there are simply some pieces of equipment in Soul's Remnant that can be considered one-offs for the equipment slot they occupy, such as the Top Hat. It is a level 50 hat with no Stats Lines and 8 Upgrade Slots, which is fairly unique for a Hat.

Which is why "Unique Equipment" is considered a category here on the wiki. Some items simply do not follow the Tiered system, which helps make itemization all that more personal.

Fame and Cosmetics

We should also mention that you can Double Click on another character to see not only their Equipment Window [L], but their Cosmetics Window as well. You are even given the option of Faming them!

Double Clicking on someone is also a convenient way to add them to your party, or request a trade!

Fame provides no attribute bonuses. It is purely a system designed for community interaction. Once a day, you can Double Click on a new person and grant them (or take away) 1 point of Fame. You can only give or take away Fame from the same character once a month.

While the Fame system can be used to signify a person's reputation or how well-liked they are, it is not a fully accurate read on their character.

You know how it is with close friends. They'll lower your Fame in a game for the kicks :P

Speaking of friends, comparing and complimenting each others Cosmetics is always a good time!

When opening your own Equipment Window, you can click the box next to the word "Cosmetics" to enter Cosmetic Mode. It will look a lot like your Equipment Window, but with a pale overlay attached to it.

Any Equipment you equip while in Cosmetic Mode will not have their attributes apply to you, but they will have their appearance shown on your character in place of your actual Equipment.

So please, make use of this page and view all the items below at your leisure!
