Party Quests are another method to gain Player EXP and items. There are even some items you can only get from Party Quests!

Group with others, and maybe you'll not only find that Party Questing has a better Player EXP rate than Grinding does, but also that you're a pretty lucky guy when it comes to Party Quest drops~

Beach Party Quest (Recommended level: 12+, Time Limit: 30 minutes)

Located in Secret Cove.
You need a party of at least 4 to clear this PQ, specifically for Stage 4. Prepare for combat, as well as puzzles!

Stage 1

  • Loot and Deliver

The first stage is fairly simple. Kill all the monsters on the map. Every monster with drop 1 Seashell , which will go into the Misc Tab of your inventory when picked up. Seashells can be dropped, and your party leader needs to hold all of the Seashells in their inventory.

Only after the party leader has all the Seashells, and then talks to the NPC, will the stage be cleared and the portal forward be opened!

Stage 2

  • Platforming Section

It's time to maneuver, without your skills! While within the second stage's map, you cannot use any skills. The NPC waits above for someone to reach them with pure platforming skill, and it doesn't have to be the party leader.

Race your way up, jump and climb through the map, and be the first to talk to the NPC and clear the stage for your party!

Stage 3

  • Quiz Time

When the party leader talks to the NPC, a question will appear on everyone's screen as monsters spawn on the numbered platforms. In order to answer the question, you must reduce the number of monsters on both platforms to represent your answer in a two digit form. Platform 1 represents the "Tens" and Platform 2 represents the "Ones". Once the party leader talks to the NPC, that locks in your answer. If your answer is correct the next question will be given. If your answer is wrong, 9 Slimes will spawn on each platform once again.

Example: If your answer is 60, then you need six remaining Slimes on Platform 1 and no Slimes on Platform 2. If your answer is 09, then you need no Slimes on Platform 1, and nine remaining Slimes on Platform 2.

Both platforms will have 9 slimes spawn on them with every new question, or every wrong answer. Take advantage of this information. We recommend counting your kills instead of trying to track the moving Slimes.

Stay calm, and be okay with moving at a glacier's pace if need be.

Some questions are based off of outdated information. Here are a few answers to help, but don't be shy to ask for help or answers in the Discord!
Question Answer
# of Outskirts Maps 09
Cost of Small Health Potion 60
Cost of Small Mana Potion 85
Soul's Remnant founded 16
# of NPCs in Spawn 06
Kmitty 01
Magic level for Gravity Well 20
Member Requirement for lv5 Guild 04

After all questions have been answered correctly, the next stage will be made available!

Stage 4

  • The Barrels of Know-What-You're-Doing-Please-And-Be-Patient-With-Your-Party-Members

After moving your way up the path in front of you, you'll be presented with 6 barrels arranged like this:

  1
2|3
4|5|6

Some of you already know where this is going. Regardless, the following information should be helpful for all.

In order to clear this stage, the party leader must talk to the NPC while three party members stand on top of the correct barrels.
Which barrels are correct are randomly chosen, so this stage is the most likely to vary in time taken. Sometimes it will be cleared instantly! Other times, less so.

The most common method of clearing this stage is to have party members stand on barrel positions 1·2·3.
#3 will move the most, #2 will likely move a little, and #1 is most likely to not move at all.

Then barrel positions are tested in the following order:
1·2·3 → 1·2·4 → 1·2·5 → 1·2·6 → 1·3·4 → 1·3·5 → 1·3·6 → 1·4·5 → 1·4·6 → 1·5·6 → 2·3·4 → 2·3·5 → 2·3·6 → 2·4·5 → 2·4·6 → 2·5·6 → 3·4·5 → 3·4·6 → 3·5·6 → 4·5·6

Success will lead you to the Final Boss!

Stage 5

  • Boss Fight

Down below, the giant blue slime waits to be challenged! It will occasionally lob its globs of water and slime at you and your party members, so watch out for that.

One important detail to note is that the arena has no walls on the side, so don't rely on wall jumps to get yourself out of corners.

After defeated the boss, it will drop what the NPC is looking for. It will also sometimes drop a Blue Slime Piece, which is needed for Shepherd's 3rd Quest.

Once the party leader speaks with the NPC, the stage will be cleared!

Clear Room

  • Collect and Leave

One final room to celebrate in. When you're ready to leave, talk to the NPC.

After leaving, you will be granted Player EXP as well as one random item as you are sent back to Secret Cove.

That random item will be one of the following options:
