However, many Quality of Life changes were added, such as now being able to hold down skills to automatically use them off cooldown. There was also a new [[Kmitty]] npc with a long questline involving a new dungeon. After this playtest ended, it was announced that [[chamoon|Chao]] intended on developing Soul's Remnant with the intent to eventually launch the game to be playable 24/7 on Steam, but still had intentions on keeping the seasonal part of the game in mind.
