General Description

Right of the bat, you won't die in the place of your Armor Link'd friend should they take lethal damage. You will potentially be reduced to 1 HP if they take just a truly massive hit, so be careful!

After linking up, a faint line will appear that connects the two of you, making it easier to keep track of where the other is.

After entering a portal, we recommend that you wait for each other so that the link can be reestablished. Better safe than sorry!

And for when the In-Game Description mentions "healing", it refers exclusively to healing abilities like Revitalize and Medishot or even the orbs summoned from Water Element procs. Using consumables or relying on Guild Perks to try and stack up on health regeneration that way won't work with Armor Link.

In-Game Description

Links yourself to the person right in front of you. You share 10%(+0.3%/CON)+4%/lv) of their damage and you share similar amount of healing with them.
